Principal's
Message
Welcome
to Kersley Elementary's Website. We are a small school of only 63
students, but our students are very responsible and I'm always hearing
from community members, guests, or teachers-on-call (substitute
teachers) how much they love to come to Kersley Elementary School.
We
believe that developing social responsibility with our students
is extremely important and we have school-wide programs that focus
on teaching our students to be KODIAKS: Kind, Outstanding Work Habits,
Dedicated to Respect, Include Everyone, Achieving Goals, Keen, and
Safe. All students have been taught that our hands and words are
for helping, not hurting.
Our
extra-curricular activities such as volleyball and basketball are
successful because of the volunteer work of teachers and parents.
We have an on-going fundraiser with a bottle drop-off station, and
we also have parents who come into the classroom on a regular basis.
We welcome parents to volunteer. There are many opportunities in
our school to get involved.
Our
school and community strives to work together to provide a safe,
supportive environment where all students are encouraged to try
their best.

A. Gauthier

of print (BC HealthGuide handbook and HealthLinkBC Files), and telephone
resources, which put both services and health information into the
